Bearded Butchers High Temperature Cheddar Cheese features diced, real cheddar cheese formulated to withstand cooking and smoking temperatures up to 400 degrees F without melting out of meat products. Special cultures and reduced moisture help the cheese retain its shape and soft texture in bratwurst, summer sausage, burgers, and snack sticks. Each 1 lb package provides enough cheese for approximately 10 lbs of meat at the manufacturer’s recommended 10% mixing ratio. The cheese contains milk and is shelf stable until opened.
